Flash Meshtastic Firmware
- Open Meshtastic Web Flasher in Chrome or Edge.
- Connect your node over USB.
- Select the correct target hardware.
- Flash and wait for completion.
Tip: Keep the device powered and avoid disconnecting until the flash process finishes.

Install the App and Pair
Use the mobile app to pair over Bluetooth and validate that the node is healthy.

- Confirm firmware version

Configure Recommended Settings
Set the basics first, then tune as you learn your local RF environment.
- Role: CLIENT for most mobile nodes, ROUTER for fixed high sites
- Region: United States or appropriate region
- Preset: Long Range - Fast
- Hop Limit: 3 is a practical starting point
