Need Hardware?
Both meshtastic and meshcore require compatible LoRa hardware to function. You can find a variety of options for nodes and infrastructure devices.

Note: The above antennas are just a few examples. There are many other antennas available that can work with your LoRa devices. When choosing an antenna, consider factors like gain, radiation pattern, and connector type to ensure it’s compatible with your hardware and meets your coverage needs.
Strategic Location
For best performance, place your nodes in strategic locations that maximize coverage and connectivity. This often means higher elevations, open areas, or locations with clear line of sight to other nodes.
Already Have Hardware?
If you already have compatible hardware, the next step is to flash it with the firmware of your choice.
Both projects have detailed guides on how to flash devices, and the process is generally straightforward with the right tools and instructions.
Make sure to follow the official guides carefully, as flashing firmware can sometimes be tricky if you’re new to it.
After flashing, you can connect to your device using the respective apps and start configuring it for your mesh network.
